So, I'm new here....Hi! I've always enjoyed looking at beautiful photos, but I never thought I could *learn* to take nicer photos than with my boring old point and shoot. Well, last week the Hubby passed along his first digital SLR to me--he's upgrading to bigger and better and I'm learning little things here and there with the old one--and couldn't be happier. I get so excited to see some of the shots I've captured. I never ever thought that I'd have pictures of anything other than my kids that I'd want to share, but well, I'm kinda proud of some of the pictures I've captured. I know I still have a LOT to learn, and a LOT more to experiment with, but the ideas that are running through my head have me so excited. If I could quit my job and just go around snapping shots, I think I'd be pretty happy. Kinda makes me want to take some classes after I get more familiar with this beast of a camera that I have now.... Anyway. Hi from me, and thanks for taking the time to looks at my learning process. I appreciate the comments and look forward to getting some ideas from others as well as some constructive criticism.
